The result of preferring to stand behind a camera rather then in front. I know my place. I'm not photogenic, and I'm not keen on always, always showing off in front of people. Whenever there's a camera around, I make my way discretely into the periphery, hoping I wont be caught on film. Maybe I'm not the typical only child Leo, or something, I just prefer... to not be seen.

Hand me a camera, and I'm happy, though. Writing and photography - and traveling. That's me in a nutshell. I know what makes me at ease, what makes me happy, what I aim for in this life. I know what I'll make my hobbies, because I can't make it into a career. Unless someone actually hires me off the bat for photographic reportage's. But I'm not holding my breath for that.

These pictures come without a challenge. Just enjoy the beauty the world offers...

Are you fishing for compliments my dear? :-)
Cos if that's you in the last pic I beg to differ about your photogeneity (if such a word exists...)
Nice pics - where are we looking at?
wow it's beautiful.
i'm not exactly the typical only child leo either (and that must be why we get along haha!), i'm usually camera shy... but that said, i'm not that great behind a camera either... but gotta love nature pics.
Ant, sorry to disappoint you, but that's not me. It is, however, a good friend of mine, and I will tell her she's got an internet admirer... :)
Jo, you and me, we're like two hot peas in a pot that's gone horribly wrong. This world doesn't understand us, our beauty, our greatness, our intelligence, out... humility? ;)
I'm shameless in front of the camera. I would imagine it can get quite annoying.
Ultra Toast Mosha God it really depends on who's holding the camera. Having friends that run away, screaming, like a wildfire was chasing them whenever they see a camera isn't that fun either... true, neither is someone having to be in 100% of the pictures and doing the crazy woodpecker from Donald Duck thing...! :D
I am SOOoooo blur; when I saw your name, I was thinking "I just read something very good by this person", but couldn't for the life of me place it... and then saw your profile, and it hit me... LOL! I have a VERY short-term memory ... ;-) Pleased to meet you... beautiful pictures :-) I like photography too; but like it easy (I just use a simple digital :-))
Oh, and how strange! I tried to add you to my 'favourites' toolbar, and found you were already there...! I must have come across your blog ages ago, and then it got lost by all the new links (like all the stuff I should study; if I'm not free to read it then, I just add it first, and then forget to read it...)
~eve~ thanks for adding me and the kind words - yeah, sometimes I manage to move my mind and create something semi-interesting... :)
Nice to meet you too - already added you to my favorites! :D
What a beautiful place! Looks like a great place to pop a canoe in the water and enjoy!
I'm not really one for being photographed either, because I always look awful in them.
I challenge you to try life that anchor...
Scott, see, this is where your PoV differs sadly much from mine (nobody needs to jump on me due to the grammatical errors - it's intended), because the further away from a canoe and wildlife I am, the happier I get! :)
But true, those photos rock. I rock! :P
Crushed you challenge me to... lift it? Live it? Eh... hang it around my neck and jump into the water? Sorry, hun, it was just about knee-deep by the shore, wouldn't do much good there...
Great pics. I however happen to know the photographer and she is very photogenic...
Michael that's a fairly relative statement. You're a fairly relative person. And the photographer is fairly amused by you calling her "photogenic"... :)
But thanks, man, you're kinda hot too! ;)
